The main issue (and this went way over most people’s heads, seemingly) is that most web designers are far too precious about responsive web design. It seems untouchable amongst certain groups. Whilst responsive design can be beneficial in certain circumstances, it is not a cure-all for web design across multiple platforms, and there are downsides to going responsive. It’s nice that you’ve highlighted that fact in your comment

May I ask if Vargas Museum is accepting requests for it to be a venue for an educational field trip? The local state university, in which I was formerly employed in, is hoping to make Vargas Museum part of their itinerary during one of their educational field trips this August 2012. They are planning to send a request letter probably within the week. They’ve approached me to inquire about said concern because I’m an alumnus of the College of Arts and Letters.
Hoping to hear from you regarding the aforementioned concern.
