KAPITAL: Tribute to Labor

The UP Jorge B. Vargas Museum (UPVM) will hold artist guided tours for the exhibition KAPITAL on September 15 and 16 (Wednesday and Thursday), both at 2:30 in the afternoon.

Kapital is homage to labor and the plight of workers, at a time when their presence is made more obscure by the complex networks of world economies. Featuring works by pioneers of the social realist movement from the seventies alongside those by younger generation- artists and collectives, artists participating in the walk through will share views about unjust labor practice and the possibilities for change crafted by art.

For reservations and additional information, please contact the Vargas Museum at numbers 928-1927, 981-8500 loc. 4024, or e-mail
